Facilities / Product Worker (Hybrid Position)
Job Functions (Facilities and Maintenance):
- Diagnose problems; troubleshoot, replace or repair parts
- Perform unscheduled repairs of machines and equipment during production
- Perform all required landscape and maintenance on lawn, bushes, trees and weed
control - Sweep and maintain driveways, parking lots, curbs and dumpster areas
- Clean oil stains from delivery trucks
- Maintain building premises by painting and cleaning
- Maintain all lighting by changing light bulbs and fixtures as needed
- Prepare, clear and maintain walkways and loading docks during inclement weather
- Perform a variety of carpentry, plumbing and landscaping functions
- Prepare and set up machinery for production runs
- Perform simple production and manufacturing duties and responsibilities as needed
- Reports any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or repairs to the maintenance
supervisor - Comply with all safety rules
Job Functions (Production):
- Gather needed materials
- Feed raw materials and parts carefully into semi-automated machines
- Machine set up
- Run all automatic grease / silicone filling machines
- Push buttons and levers to start / stop machines
- Adjust and control machine settings
- Monitor and adjust equipment while they are running
- Use weighing scales and calipers
- Change drums for machines and if needed for Production
- Follow written and verbal operating procedures
- Maintain a high level of quality for operations being performed
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Willingness to help in ALL manufacturing and production areas
Job Requirements:
- Ability to speak and read the English language
- Forklift experience REQUIRED
- Must be neat and organized
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs
Competencies and Authorities:
- High School diploma and/or Trade School certificate
- Basic electrical, wiring, carpentry and plumbing
- Use of power tools, use of multi-meter
- Ability to read and follow instruction manualsHigh School diploma or GED equivalent
Physical Demands:
This is a very active position where standing, walking, bending, kneeling and climbing occurs on a daily basis.
